On what may well be considered the homestretch leading up to the June 6 CFDA Awards, Menswear Designer of the Year nominee Simon Spurr headed out west to merge with a another arrange of industry throng. At a supper in his credit, hosted by the recently fired Mr Porter (the 12-week-old sibling site to Net-a-Porter), a collection of well-heeled gents descended on the Hollywood-heavy scene by the Chateau Marmont for supper.

“It’s pleasing to have a designer who actually attentions to bring you the right size, who you can shriek up on the phone, and who wants to watch you see agreeable in their suits and represent their brand well,” said a trustworthy Kellan Lutz, reigning potentate of the Young Hollywood scene.
